Pick a real time, add your child's first name and year group, and confirm your email with a six-digit code. Some teachers confirm instantly; others reply to your request.

Lessons happen online or in person. You pay the teacher directly. After lessons, teachers can leave notes in your child's Learning Journey.

Every teacher is checked before they appear
Qualifications are verified one by one and shown as separate labels, so you can see exactly what each teacher holds. Tap a label to see what we check.
Qualified Teacher
Holds a recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or a B.Ed. We check the certificate before the label appears.
Identity, qualification and permit documents are reviewed privately and never shown on a profile.
A Learning Journey for every child
After each lesson, the teacher can write a short note: what was covered, what went well, what needs practice and what to do next. Notes build up over time, so you always know where things stand.

Yes. Parents pay nothing to Tap Tuition: no subscription and no booking fee. You pay the teacher directly for the lessons you book.
Who provides the lessons?
Independent teachers. Tap Tuition is a technology marketplace. It does not employ teachers, set their prices or deliver lessons.
How do I pay for lessons?
Directly to the teacher, in the way you agree with them. Tap Tuition does not collect or hold tuition payments.
Do I need an account?
Not to browse. When you book, you confirm your email with a six-digit code. There's no password to remember.
What do you ask about my child?
Only a first name, year group and what they need help with. You can add more than one child.
